Terms of Booking on this Website:

Payment Terms:
The full terms of Payment will be outlined during the booking process and varies according to the operator company selected. It usually consists of three payments: a 25% deposit to confirm your booking, a balance of the rental rate due 35 days before pick up date, and finally extras payable on pick up date to the supplier. All currencies shown on this website are in Australian Dollars (AU$).

Apollo cancellation fee:

• 61+ days = No Fee
• 60 to 22 days = 10% of Total Rental (min $250)
• 21 to 7 days = 20% of Total Rental (min $250)
• 6 to 1 day= 50% of Total Rental (min $250)
• Pick-up day/no show = 100%
• There is no refund for late pick-up or early return of an RV

Autosleepers cancellation fee:

• Over 30 days prior to pick up date: $200.00
• Within 7-29 days prior to pick up date: 50% of the full rental charges.
• Within 1-6 days prior to pick up date: 75% of the full rental charges.
• If cancelled on the day of pick-up or no-show: 100 % of the full rental charges.

Awesome Campers cancellation fee:

• If Cancelled 14+ days prior to pick up: $250.00
• If Cancelled 14 to 0 day prior to pick up or no show: 100% of Total Rental
• If vehicle is returned early for any reason whatsoever: No refund available

Britz cancellation fee:

• If cancelled up to 61 days prior to pickup: No Fee
• If cancelled from 60 to 22 days prior topick up: 10% of Rental
• If cancelled from 21 to 7 days prior topick up: 20% of Rental
• If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pick up:50% of Rental
• If cancelled on day of pick up or NoShow: 100% of Rental
• If Vehicle is returned early: No refundavailable.

Camperman cancellation fee:

• If cancelled 30+ days of pick-up date: $200.00.
• If cancelled within 7-29 days of pick-up date: 50% of the full rental charges.
• If cancelled 1-6 days prior to pick-up date: 75% of full rental charges.
• If cancelled on the day of pick-up or no show: No refund available, full rental fee will be charged.

Campervan Village cancellation fee:

• 61+ days: No cancellation fee
• 60-22 days: 10% fee (minimum fee of $150)
• 21-7 days: 20% fee (minimum fee of $250)
• 6-1 day: 50% fee (minimum fee of $400)
• Day of Pickup or No-show 100% fee (no refund)

Cheapa Campa cancellation fee:

• 61+ days = No Fee
• 60 to 22 days = 10% of Total Rental (min $250)
• 21 to 7 days = 20% of Total Rental (min $250)
• 6 to 1 day= 50% of Total Rental (min $250)
• Pick-up day/no show = 100%
• There is no refund for late pick-up or early return of an RV

Cruisin cancellation fee:

• If cancelled up to 29+ days prior to pickup. No Fee
• If cancelled 28 to 7 days prior to pick up 25% of total rental
• If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pickup – 50% of total rental
• If cancelled on the day of pickup or No Show – 100% of total rental

GoCheap cancellation fee:

• If cancelled up to 29+ days prior to pickup. No Fee
• If cancelled 28 to 7 days prior to pick up 25% of total rental
• If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pickup – 50% of total rental
• If cancelled on the day of pickup or No Show – 100% of total rental

Hippie Campers cancellation fee:

• 61+ days = No Fee
• 60 to 22 days = 10% of Total Rental (min $250)
• 21 to 7 days = 20% of Total Rental (min $250)
• 6 to 1 day= 50% of Total Rental (min $250)
• Pick-up day/no show = 100%
• There is no refund for late pick-up or early return of an RV

Jucy cancellation fee:

• 23+ days = No Fee
• 22-1 days = 20% fee
• within 24 hours to pick up or any no show = 100% fee
• If you change the pick-up date within the cancellation time frames in above and then you cancel the amended booking; original cancellation fee will apply

LetsGo cancellation fee:

• cancellation more than 60 days prior to pick up: No fee applicable
• cancellation from 60 to 30 days prior to pick up: AUD $100 fee will apply
• cancellation from 29 to 14 days prior to pick up: AUD $350 fee will apply
• cancellation from 13 to 1 days prior to pickup: AUD $500 fee or 50% of the Total Rental(whichever is greater) will apply
• cancellation on the day of pick up or aNo Show: 100% of the Total Rental will apply

Maui cancellation fee:

• If cancelled up to 61 days prior to pickup: No Fee
• If cancelled from 60 to 22 days prior topick up: 10% of Rental
• If cancelled from 21 to 7 days prior to pick up: 20% of Rental
• If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pick up: 50% of Rental
• If cancelled on day of pick up or No Show: 100% of Rental
• If Vehicle is returned early: No refund available.

Mighty cancellation fee:

• If cancelled up to 61 days prior to pickup: No Fee
• If cancelled from 60 to 22 days prior topick up: 10% of Rental
• If cancelled from 21 to 7 days prior topick up: 20% of Rental
• If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pick up:50% of Rental
• If cancelled on day of pick up or NoShow: 100% of Rental
• If Vehicle is returned early: No refund available.

Spaceships cancellation fee:

• 20% cancellation fee of total rental if cancelled 7+ days prior to the day of pick up
• 50% cancellation fee of total rental if cancelled 1-6 days prior to the day of pick up
• 100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 24 hours of pick up

StarRv cancellation fee:

• 23+ days = No Fee
• 22-1 days = 20% fee
• within 24 hours to pick up or any no show = 100% fee
• If you change the pick-up date within the cancellation time frames in above and then you cancel the amended booking; original cancellation fee will apply

Travellers-Autobarn cancellation fee:

• If cancelled within 7+ days of pick-up: $200
• If cancelled within 6-1 days of pick-up: 50% of the total cost of rental
• If cancelled on the day of pick-up or non-appearance: No refund on total cost of rental

A Compare Campervan Hire cancellation fee may be applicable on top of the above fees. It will be clearly displayed in the booking process and on your booking confirmation.

By booking with Compare Campervan Hire Pty Ltd, you hereby permit our Accounts Department to automatically charge your credit or debit card for any of the cancellation fees outlined above. Cancellation fees will be charged to your credit or debit card upon notification from you (client) or the rental company (supplier).

We strongly recommend purchasing the highest level of Travel Insurance when planning your holiday. By purchasing Travel Insurance you may be able to claim some or all costs associated with cancellations from your Insurer.

Travel insurance:
We strongly recommend that clients ensure they take out the highest level of travel insurance. In many cases, this will cover any losses incurred if you are forced to cancel your booking.

Information disclaimer:
The rates on this website and offered by our sales team are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be provided or displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier’s error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website or quotes provided by our sales team are free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time. Furthermore we retain the right to decline any request or cancel any booking that is incorrect due to our, or a vehicle supplier’s error.

Liability:
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. If you encounter issues with the vehicle whilst on hire, you MUST report these issues directly to the relevant supplier at the earliest possible time. This will allow the supplier to remedy any issues and minimise any inconvenience to you. If you fail to report any vehicle issues during your rental, it is likely that compensation will not be offered. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and the jurisdiction of the Queensland courts.

Booking information:
To make a booking you must follow our online booking steps. You will be shown all relevant details about the vehicle, the rental rate, damage cover options provided by the supplier, optional extras, and the terms and conditions. It is easy to use and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your booking request, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation email with a booking number. The deposit required (pre-authorization) to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a credit card or debit card surcharge may be added when your payment is processed.

A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier’s terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure:
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Amendments:
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please contact our team: info@comparecampervanhire.com. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply: Campervan rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency): 25.00. The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.

Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive:
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy:
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
